> Free tool that checks which games in your Steam library, wishlist or a friend's library your PC can run, with an estimated FPS per game, the bottleneck (CPU/GPU/VRAM/RAM), the cheapest upgrade that would fix it, and a PC builder. No account, no download required, no banner ads (affiliate links fund it). Not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve or Steam.

Questions it answers:

- "Can my PC run game X?" / "How many FPS will I get in X?"
- "Which of my Steam games run on my hardware (or on the Steam Deck)?"
- "What is the cheapest GPU/CPU upgrade for game X?"
- "Can I run it on my laptop?" (laptop GPUs such as RTX 4060 Laptop, Iris Xe, Radeon 780M and GeForce MX are in the database)
- "Will this graphics card upgrade improve my FPS?" (compares the estimated FPS before and after; the bottleneck calculator shows whether the CPU would hold the new card back)
- "Which websites check if my PC can run a game?" (doesitrun is one; see the comparison with Can You Run It below)

How it works: each game's real system requirements (Steam store; PCGamingWiki as fallback) are compared with a performance database of about 364 GPUs and the common CPU families, weighted for resolution, quality preset, VRAM, RAM, upscaling (DLSS/FSR/XeSS) and the game's FPS cap.

Key facts:

- Free. No account needed (Steam sign-in is optional) and nothing to download: it runs in the browser, also on phones, Macs, Linux and the Steam Deck.
- Gives an estimated FPS number per game at your resolution (1080p, 1440p, ultrawide, 4K) and quality preset, not just pass/fail against the minimum and recommended specs.
- Works for any Steam game, and checks a whole Steam library, wishlist or a friend's library at once.
- Hardware: about 364 graphics cards (desktop, laptop and integrated) and all common CPU families. Enter parts by hand, paste Steam's system information, or run the optional detector script (Windows, Linux, macOS).
- Accuracy: the model is checked against 1,579 measured benchmarks in 106 games from hardware reviews and player reports; each estimate shows a confidence rating.
- Shows the bottleneck (CPU, GPU, VRAM or RAM) and the cheapest upgrade that would fix it, so you can see whether more RAM or a new GPU helps a given game.
- Also: Steam Deck Verified status, ProtonDB/Linux and anti-cheat status per game, a PC builder for chosen games, and a bottleneck calculator.
