Free “Can I run it?” button for your website
For game shops, wikis, blogs and forums: one link and your visitors see whether a game runs on their PC and roughly how many FPS to expect, without downloading anything. Free, no sign-up, and no script on your site.
How it works
- Paste a game's Steam store link below and copy one of the three snippets: a text link, a button or a badge.
- A visitor who clicks lands on that game's page on doesitrun: system requirements, estimated FPS for popular graphics cards, and a quick check with their own graphics card and processor.
- Shops: one link per product. The pattern is
https://doesitrun.com/game/<Steam AppID>, the AppID is the number instore.steampowered.com/app/1245620/.

Button language:
Without an AppID the link goes to the start page, where visitors check their whole Steam library.
1. Plain text link
2. Button (no stylesheet needed)
3. Badge with logo
What your visitors get
- An estimated FPS number at 1080p, 1440p and 4K, not just pass or fail against the minimum specs.
- Steam Deck status, Linux/ProtonDB rating and anti-cheat status per game.
- Everything in the browser: no download, no account. Signing in with Steam is optional and only needed to check a whole library.
The fine print
- Free for any website, commercial or not. No attribution needed beyond the link itself.
- Change the text, colors or size as you like. Please don't make the link look like your own checker.
- No tracking on your site: the snippets are plain HTML. The badge is a static image. A click counts on doesitrun like any other visit, without cookies (privacy).
- Questions, a different size or a language we don't offer yet: contact.
